Maurice Scott

Maurice received his Bachelor’s Degree from Albany State University in 2006 and he graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2012. Maurice is licensed to practice in the State of Indiana.

Maurice formerly served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Indianapolis, where he advised and represented multiple government agencies in land use disputes, quiet title actions, and mortgage foreclosures. His knowledge of quiet title actions earned him the reputation as the go-to person on handling those matters in central Indiana. Maurice’s experience with the City of Indianapolis taught him how to resolve issues effectively and efficiently. Maurice represents individuals, real estate investors, developers, and corporations in a wide range of areas. He regularly works with clients in negotiating office leases, purchase and sale of commercial properties, land use disputes, and quiet title actions.

Maurice is active in his local community. He is a member of the Marion County Bar Association, Board Member of the International Marketplace Coalition, and he teaches civics to inner city elementary and middle school students.
